The Mandalorian and the Real Wild West

January 2, 2020

The Mandalorian on Disney+ is built on a ton of classic Western movie tropes. Mando is frequently seen as the lone rider who comes to town, discovers a problem and solves it by being a superior gunslinger—like Clint Eastwood in A Fistful of Dollars.
