Is the problem of police brutality a propagandized myth or a reflection of widespread racism? It’s neither. Maggie Anders and Olivia Rondeau discuss the underlying cause of police violence in America, which don’t fit into predominant, popular narratives. They explore the cognitive dissonance among both sides of the partisan divide and the commonality—the government’s inherently violent nature—that underlies both ideologies and drives government violence against Americans regardless of their politics.
